Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Roundhouse Mid ‘Handcuff’
Pour la saison automne/hiver 2012, Jeremy Scott a réinterprété les Adidas Originals Roundhouse Mid.
Le créateur a utilisé des couleurs plutôt standards mais il apporte sa touche de folie avec une menotte orange en plastique et caoutchouc accrochée à la paire.
UPDATE: la paire devait sortir le 12 août 2012, mais la marque a annulé la commercialisation à cause de la polémique autour du design, en effet, ils sont accusés de s’être inspiré de l’esclavage..
« The design of the JS Roundhouse Mid is nothing more than the designer Jeremy Scott’s outrageous and unique take on fashion and has nothing to do with slavery. We apologize if people are offended by the design and we are withdrawing our plans to make them available in the marketplace. »
